Squirrel Class Assembly

Squirrel Class Assembly

What a fact filled assembly about the skills the children have learnt so far about survival, both historical and present day!  There were some very emotional diary extracts and poetry written by the children, describing the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and the aftermath in Pompeii.

This was followed by a demonstration of compass skills and how to distinguish living things by using scientific keys.

Well done Squirrels!

At the end of the assembly I gave the class a challenge… Thursday 6th April the class will be taken to a mystery destination where they will demonstrate their survival skills … and there may be an overnight stay???  The plot thickens… further details to follow from Miss Thomas.
