16th July 2019
We have some talented children at Andoversford- what a fantastic performance! Oliver really came to life in our school hall on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th July. We certainly have some children who have a future in the theatre!
Thank you to all of the staff who helped to make the production happen, especially to Miss Thomas and Miss Davis Butler who have been working tirelessly with production club this term. A special extra mention to Dr Keith Mead, who is such a valuable asset and friend of the school!
I just wanted to write to say how much I enjoyed the school production of Oliver. It was lovely to see the children performing so confidently and with such enthusiasm. I was particularly pleased to see the children supporting those who found remembering the stage routines a little more challenging, so that all could enjoy their moment in the spotlight and receive their well-deserved applause! This exemplified the ethos of caring for others which I have seen as a Governor at the school.

Well done to all the staff too for their creativity and rehearsals.
Just a short note to say how much I enjoyed "Oliver" on Monday and Tuesday.

The staff had clearly worked hard casting the appropriate children into the various roles, and organising the rehearsals. It was lovely to see the whole school taking part and I was particularly impressed with how the children helped each other especially a child who I know has an EHC plan.

Well done to all the staff!
