We thought about animals that we are similar too. We drew a picture of the animal and found out lots of facts, just like Leo did!

Art: Relief Printing
This week, Beech Class have completed their Art project - relief printing!
We began the week looking at a variety of Roman shields and commenting on what we liked and didn't like about them.
These inspired us to create our own Roman shields!
After this, we drew our designs onto cardboard and spent time creating a relief print, using string. Some children found this step tricky, as it required a lot of concentration!
When this was dry, we used black in and had a go at rolling the ink onto our print to create a printed Roman shield!
