Parking Notice - keeping our community safe
We have noticed an increase once again in those who drive to school using the layby and front gate.
This results in a more hazardous environment, especially in the mornings.
Parking in the front layby also prevents important school transport from parking in the layby where they are required to park.
We ask that all parents and carers who drive to school please park at the village hall and use the back gate.
Please do keep this in mind if you drive to school and help us to keep our school community safe and running smoothly for all.
Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

End of Key Stage 2 Results for Year 6 Pupils and Parents
I am writing to let you know about a delay to this year's Key Stage 2 test results, which affects all schools nationally.
Schools were due to receive results on 7 July 2026. However, Pearson Education Limited, the provider responsible for administering, marking, and returning Key Stage 2 results to schools has informed the Department for Education of a delay affecting the national system used to make results available to schools. We have been informed today that schools will not receive the results until 16 July 2026.
We understand that this is frustrating, but we are not able to change this. Parents will still receive their child's report at the planned time, but it will not have the Key Stage 2 Assessment results included. These will be shared as soon as we are able to.
This will not impact your child’s transition to secondary school and no action is required from parents or pupils.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

School Reports 2026
Heatwaves and drowning risk resources from the RLSS
Dear Parents and Carers,
please find a message below from PC Leah Davies, our local police engagement officer on the risk of drowning in heatwaves:
During the May heatwave, at least 13 children and teenagers in the UK died from drowning.
Some local schools are running assemblies by the Royal Life Saving Society to discourage open water swimming - lakes, rivers, reservoirs, and canals.
Despite some hard-hitting content, many young people (mostly young men, most at risk from drowning inland) still believe it couldn't happen to them.
Last week's heatwave may have come to an end but you might find these resources useful.
