After School Clubs at Andoversford

We  are delighted to be able to offer some after school clubs this term.  Last year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we couldn't have as many clubs running as we normally would, but we are pleased that this year, we can return to offering lots of exciting after school activities.

All clubs start week commencing 2nd May 2022 and finish at 4pm unless specified differently below.

Once registered with a club the expectation is that all children must attend every session unless absent from school. We encourage our pupils to be respectful towards others, therefore if your child is no longer able to attend a club, they should send a letter to the club leader out of courtesy.

You will notice that we are offering a club before school on a Tuesday morning.  This is something that we haven't offered before but we are hoping it will be popular!

Summer Term Clubs:
Monday: Rounders Club with Callum from Move More for Y3-Y6
Tuesday 8am - 8.40am: Circuits with Miss Gunnell for Y3-Y6. 20 places available  Children will need to arrive at school in their PE kit.  These sessions will hopefully take place outside so a jumper/hoodie is advisable depending on the weather.
Tuesday: Young Voices Club with Miss Thomas & Mrs Armstrong - all existing members must attend.  This club will run on 3rd and 10th May only before our concert on 17th May.  (Your child can sign up to another club on Tuesday afternoons but will miss the first 3 sessions due to the clash with Young Voices).
Tuesday: Choir Club with Miss Thomas for Y2-Y6.  Please note this club does not start until 24th May.
Tuesday: Construction Club with Miss Packer and Mrs Mace for all year groups. 15 places available
Wednesday: Recorder Club with Rosy Crocker for Y2-Y6 12 places available
Thursday: Street Dance Club with Rebecca from Arts in Motion Dance for all year groups.  (£55 for 10 weeks).  This club runs until 4.15pm.  A letter regarding how to make payment for this club will be sent to those who sign up.  Please note there is no Street Dance Club on 19th May.
Friday: Roller-skating with Mrs Bradley-McKay for Y2-Y6 12 places available.
Children will need to have their own roller skates and safety equipment (helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards) as skating will take place outside. Please note that in the event of rain, we will not be able to continue as the wet surface will not be safe to skate on and the hall floor is rubberised which makes it unsuitable for skating.
Friday: Gardening Club with parent volunteers (Mrs Dubock, Mrs Smith and Mrs Everitt) for Y1 - Y6.  £5 per child. 12 places available
