Upcoming Events

22 November 2021 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head))

Thank you to everyone in the Andoversford community who has helped and supported the school over the global Covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we are still in the middle of a very challenging time with the local Cotswold figures and the Gloucestershire figures causing concern. As you already know, schools have been asked to extend their additional measures at least until the end of November. As we have a few school events coming up, we have taken the decision to review the plans and make some adjustments to ensure that we are doing everything possible to keep the community safe. We will continue to monitor the situation, therefore further changes may be needed. If this is the case we will let you know as soon as possible.

We know that it can be frustrating to have mixed messages – especially as the measures in wider society are not as stringent as the procedures that schools have been advised to put in place. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Parent Forum 30th November

This will be held virtually through Zoom. A notification will be sent out the day before the event with the link to join. Please sign in with your name so that we can admit parents from the waiting room. Anonymous or unknown participants cannot be admitted to the session.

PTFA Craft Sale 10th December

We have arranged for this craft sale to take place outside on the school playground. Please wear a mask when approaching the stalls or when you are in close proximity to others. Thank you for respecting others by keeping a safe distance.

Christmas Lunch 14th December

This event will be for pupils only this year. We had hoped to invite parents along to join us for a festive meal, however we are unable to do so in a safe and secure way. It is a great tradition, and we hope to bring it back next year!

Christmas Performance 15th December

The Christmas Service is taking place outside. Chairs will be available for audience members, and will be spaced to enable everyone to maintain a safe distance. We kindly ask that adults wear a mask when in close proximity to others. At this stage we have not put a restriction on the number of audience members in attendance, however we ask that you help us to limit the size of our gathering by not inviting multiple family members.

Thank you again.
