On Friday 27th May, we are looking forward to the annual Sports Day! It is a chance for children to take part in some fun and competitive events. In the morning, all classes will be taking part in field events, such as jumping and throwing to earn points for their houses. We have a special Jubilee Picnic lunch planned with Caterlink, which has be part-funded by the PTFA for all pupils. More details will follow.

In the afternoon, we will be warmly welcoming parents, friends and family members to come and watch the race events from 1:30pm. It is a super chance to see some sporting talent! One side of the track will be reserved for spectators so that you can all get a good view of the races. Children will be cheering for their house on the other side of the track when they are not taking part in a race. For safeguarding reasons, the two sides are kept separate during the event, but we encourage as many people as possible to stay and celebrate together at the PTFA Jubilee Party afterwards. 

All children should wear PE kit for the whole day. If your child does not have an official  house-PE top, they may wear a plain T-shirt in their house colour to show their support! These are readily available from most supermarkets or clothing shops.
