The Knife Angel is a thought-provoking 27 ft sculpture which aims to raise awareness of all aspects of violence.  It is currently on display at Gloucester Cathedral as part of the UK National Youth Anti-Violence Tour and Programme.

The National Monument for Serious Violence and Aggression, the Knife Angel, is being supported by county wide organisations that have come together through the Stronger, Safer Gloucester community safety partnership to bring the striking symbol of peace to the city.  For more information, please click the link below.

Members of the public are warmly invited to visit the monument and to take part in the programme of events and activities that accompany it.  The High Sheriff of Gloucester is running an Art Competition where children are being invited to ‘Design a Superhero for Peace’.  Visit the Letters & Forms page of the school website for an entry form which details everything you need to know about the competition including the great prizes on offer!
