As part of his silver Duke of Edinburgh award, one of our ex-pupils (now in Year 10) is raising money for a new defibrillator to be installed on the outside wall of the Community Church on Station Road.

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a lightweight, battery-operated, portable device that delivers life-saving action if a cardiac arrest occurs by shocking the heart back into normal rhythm.  They are essential in public places so immediate access is available in an emergency.
