Family Film Night

28 September 2023 (by Rachel Bradley McKay (Head))

Due to some confusion that has been brought to our attention. We are re-sending the same news article which was published last week. It seems that there is confusion about whether parents should be staying with their children. The event is a family event, with parents attending alongside their children and enjoying spending time together as a school community. We also made an offer of wrap-around available to support those who have other commitments so that all children can attend. This was flagged up on the wrap-around booking form as the only option is for a 5pm pick up.

This news article was shared last week and dates for the full year are available on the calendar. Please read the school communication channels for information. We know that some parents use a social whatsapp group to stay in touch with each other, but messages can be misleading or mixed up on social sites.

See below:

Join us for a family film night next Thursday for just £5 per family. Ticket price includes a snack and drink! The film will start at 3:15 in the hall - straight after school.

Tickets are available through the school office. Pop into the office to pay using our card reader.

Wrap-around until 5pm has been organised for any parents who cannot attend with their child. If you need an ad-hoc booking please email the office to check availability.

New Information below:

If you have not yet organised payment, this can be taken at the end of the day by popping into the office to use the card reader. If you have not planned for anyone to supervise your child, you may want to check and see if any other parents who are going can do so or book the wrap-around option. Remember the PTFA are raising vital funds to support the school.
